What the game actually is
Forgotten Stories combines permanent risk with information that carries between attempts. A Forgotten Stories party selects tiles, enters turn-based encounters, reacts through weapon-specific QTEs, and searches for equipment, Money, Ink, Books, and healing before the next decision.
The official Forgotten Stories description confirms the roguelike structure, party play, equipment upgrading, Book writing, QTE actions, dodge controls, block, and parry. The official Discord adds the permadeath label and explains how Books affect later runs. Forgotten Stories still remains a heavy work in progress, so this archive dates every volatile claim.
Every Forgotten Stories route below starts from a player decision, identifies the evidence level, and leads to a focused page instead of a disconnected text dump.
Field archive
The Forgotten Stories archive separates official facts, public work-in-progress data, and unknown fields so players can use the information without mistaking gaps for certainty.

Open field notesForgotten Stories expects failure, but the verified mechanics reveal a repeatable learning loop. The route below explains what persists without pretending every random run follows one script.
Travel uses a tile-based map. The checked sources do not publish a complete route, so the field guide marks region knowledge as partial where needed.
Turn order, QTE actions, dodge directions, block, and parry determine whether the party can keep moving.
Money buys town items, equipment improves survival, and weapon or elemental use raises the related affinity.
Ink writes Books in the lobby. A signed Book may appear immediately in a later run or reduce a requirement, with special exceptions.
Forgotten Stories region labels confirm where selected records belong. They do not establish a complete map order, every transition, or a final chapter sequence.
The public Trello labels enemies and bosses in this region, including Aggrovant, Carnage, Carcass, Dust, Harlod, and Abigail.
Public enemy cards place Runevorant, Grovorant, Leper, Giant Spider, and several Mirage enemies in the Caves.
Supreme Chaos (Rumiel) carries the Mines label. The checked sources do not establish a full region route or chapter order.
Supreme Order (Zenitella) and selected enemy records carry the Tundra label. Full map progression remains unverified.
Forgotten Stories region coverage is intentionally conservative. Forest has the broadest checked boss evidence; Caves, Mines, and Tundra need dedicated pages before stronger route claims.
Forgotten Stories boss records are public work-in-progress Trello cards. The preview keeps unknown statistics blank instead of estimating them.

Public Trello imagery
These six Forgotten Stories images come from spell cards on the public Trello recommended by the official Discord FAQ. They show published Rune patterns and card descriptions, not a complete spell tier list.

Verify cardPublished Forgotten Stories rule: every Rune beyond a damage spell's base requirement adds 30% base damage. For a Buff, an extra Rune adds one Turn of duration.
A Forgotten Stories build can grow several affinities, but the caps are not one shared pool. Stat Lock exists because the checked FAQ says a current run cannot freely undo allocation.
All Weapon and Element Affinity points share this published total cap.
Each point adds 1 max health; every 5 adds physical damage; every 10 adds stamina.
Each point adds elemental damage; every 5 adds mana; every 10 adds a Rune slot.
These Speed thresholds grant 1, 2, 3, or 4 extra turns according to the official FAQ.
Forgotten Stories Books are written in the lobby with Ink. A signed Book normally appears immediately in a new run or lowers a requirement by 3, but the official FAQ documents special exceptions. The Forgotten Stories site keeps those exceptions on source-linked guide pages rather than compressing them into a false universal rule.
This Forgotten Stories tool applies the official FAQ rule: Physique and Runesight each stop at 20 and share a total cap of 30.
Physique adds 1 max health per point, 2% physical damage every 5 points, and 1 max stamina every 10 points.
Runesight adds 1% elemental damage per point, 1 max mana every 5 points, and 1 max Rune slot every 10 points.
Official FAQ rule
10 points remain. This allocation adds 10 max health, 2 max mana, and 1 max rune slot from the published thresholds.
Forgotten Stories does not publish formal version numbers in the verified public channels. This timeline repeats only dated statements that were actually posted.

Creator channelEvidence policy
A useful Forgotten Stories site must show where a claim came from, when it was checked, and whether the source itself is complete.
Forgotten Stories identity, description, public counts, media, group details, content maturity, badges, and passes.
Forgotten Stories FAQ mechanics, beginner advice, announcements, platform plans, creator links, and public not-found checks.
Forgotten Stories boss, enemy, spell, Book, inheritance, equipment, item, NPC, and location records.
Current boundary: no official Forgotten Stories codes were found in the ten public text channels checked on 2026-08-28. The lore channel was empty, and no formal version number was published. Those are dated findings, not permanent claims.
